Eligibility requirements :

  • One valid C.I.N. (national identity card) or C.I.C. (consular identity card);
  • Three colour ID photos;
  • One application form duly completed;
  • Fees : $175CDN for a passport and $40CDN for a C.I.C.

Entry visa

Notice
The consular is open from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except statutory holidays. All visa applications are processed the same day or within a fairly short timeframe not exceeding 48 hours. Passports may be picked up at the Embassy or may be mailed.
A valid ID card or passport suffices for nationals of CEDEAO member countries, Algeria, Cameroon, Andorra, the Principality of Monaco, Chad, Gambia, Morocco, Mauritania, and Tunisia.
Nationals from all other countries require a passport with an entry visa, visitor’s visa, or in-transit visa.
Requirement:
  • A valid passport or valid travel document in lieu of passport;
  • Two application forms available at the Embassy;
  • Two ID photos;
  • All payments will be in money order, certified cheque, or cash;
  • 48 hours are required to issue a visa;
  • Simple entry visa     (01) month  :   $ 100 CAD;
  • Multiple entries visa (01) month  :   $ 150 CAD;
  • Multiple entries visa (03) months :   $ 250 CAD;
  • Multiple entries visa (06) months :   $ 350 CAD;
  • Multiple entries visa (12) months :   $ 500 CAD;
  • Applicants bear the cost of mailing back a passport;
  • An entry visa is valid for three months from the date it is issued to an applicant;
  • All visas délivered by the Embassy of Mali. Can be extended in Bamako at the direction de la Sûreté national (Service de l’immigration) [national security directorate (immigration service)];
  • Personal cheques are not accepted.

N.B: The following applicants receive visas free of charge: holders of special and diplomatic passports.
